"Everybody ought to go to Sunday School"!!

Join us AFTER Sunday Morning Worship, classes begin after a brief time of Fellowship at 11:20am.

Sunday School provides a structured teaching of God’s Word. Teaching of the Scriptures promotes growth in our daily walk with Jesus. FUMC has Sunday School classes for all ages with a variety of class styles and topics for Adults (18 years and up). Children, youth, and adults have the opportunity to discover, review, and interact as they study God’s principles, learn and enhance knowledge from the scriptures.

Sunday school meets needs! Let FUMC meet yours!!

Little Lambs NURSERY is available for children, infant - 4 years old. Our nursery is always attended by at least two adults, one being on staff who has successfully meet the screening process required for anyone working within our Children's Ministry.  The nursery is a safe warm inviting environment intended to love and shepherd the smallest of our flock.

Preschool Class is a great introduction of out what it means to be part of God's family while being introduced to a classroom setting! Children learn Bible stories and how to live with Jesus in their life through storytime, crafts and classroom activities.

Coolagers aka Children's Ministry, grades K-5th have three dedicated meeting times. The group just does not meet for Sunday School, but also Children's Church during the later half of Sunday Morning Worship and Wednesday nights.  Coolagers are lead by Children's Minister, Jennifer Bradley.  Bible Lessons, hands on activities, crafts, games, and regular quarterly trips.  Ms. Jen makes learning about Jesus and church so much fun!!

4:12 Student Ministries (grades 6th - 12th) is creating purpose in the lives of the next generation by uncovering their identity in Christ.  The group is lead by Doug Hulshult, youth minister, who has developed the program to empower selfless individuals who are rooted in truth and walk boldly by faith, trusting God to do through them immeasurably more than they could ask or imagine.  This ministry instills 1 Timothy 4:12, "Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct in love, in faith and in purity." in our junior and senior high youth.  The group also meets on Sunday evenings as well as during Sunday School.

Sunday School is not just for kids.  FUMC has several options for Adult Sunday School.

Faith Builders Class is a geared towards our young adults comprised of men, women, singles, couples. This class is taught in a very relaxed "coffeehouse" environment.  The Bible is the fundamental teaching source, but the class also engages in a variety of study series that seek to apply biblical truth to the challenges of modern life. Class discussion and fellowship are a part of class as together, we seek a closer walk with Him. The door is open, the big red comfy couch is ready, and you are welcome you to join this class!

Pairs and Spares Class is a loving group of adults, from their 50’s to their 80’s, both  single and “paired up” , that enjoy studying the Bible. The class studies Bible based topics and series.  This group certainly enjoys getting together socially a few times a year and would welcome your presence

Believers Class is enjoying studying with a rotation of leaders.  The class implements the use of DVD Studies with leader guidance for class discussion. At the end of the current series, the class decides and votes on what they would like to delve into next.  This offers a variety of topics and leaves plenty opportunity to learn something new.  The group welcomes the opportunity to learn and loves meeting new faces.

King’s Daughters Class was one of the first established Sunday School classes of FUMC.  Albeit a small group, this group has lots of love to share; especially The Love of Christ. There is always welcoming room to study as the group is instructed using the Cokesbury Adult Bible Study Quarterly Series. The subjects are informative both biblically and historically. The class loves discussion and sharing among those in the class.
